Flying Squirrel

The animal of the day is the Flying Squirrel. (Did you know: They should be called Gliding Squirrels, since they can’t truly fly. They can however, glide for huge distances [up to 295 feet! That’s almost a football field].

This species is found only in the America’s! Also, when they’re born flying squirrels are hairless, and their skin is so thin you can identify their internal orgrans just by looking! WHOA!
