Animal of the day – 5/03/2011 – The Giant Centipede

Giant Centipede

The animal of the day is the Giant Centipede. (Did you know: There are many different types of ‘giant’ centipedes and I’m just grouping them all together as ‘oh shit’ for this post.

Giant centipedes are mostly limited to the tropical regions of the world. Thank goodness I live in Michigan.

Huge.

Ok. You know how alot of small rodents eat bugs? Well, this bug eats small rodents. That’s gangsta.

Keep in mind, that while centipedes love moist warm environments, they’ve been known to live as fat north as the Arctic circle!
