Man. Reading this book was like drinking coconut water after swimming in the ocean. If ur not from someplace you swim and have cocnuts available, I don’t know if you get that, but it means basically I was refreshed and hydrated. (and happy!)
The writers style is clear and and amazingly detailed (I love when an author really makes you identify with the characters), and the pace in the book is well crafted. It’s a great easy read, and if you basically want Harry Potter for grownups (yup, the title The Magicians isn’t a trick, it’s about actual f*cking magicians in real life), this is kinda as close as ur gonna come.
Great book, can’t wait to read the next 2 in the trilogy!
