Book of the Moment – Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay

Wow! I make it a point to not see the movie that was derived from a book before I read the book. Every time I try that, one or the other is disappointing.

Showtime’s adaption of Dexter was amazing! And for the first time I can say, after reading the book that both versions were flabbergastaring!

Book of the Moment – Graceling by Kristin Cashore

Kristin Cashore has a writing style that is smooth, easy and complex all in one swoop! The depth she gives to all of her characters is amazing!

When you’re done reading this, please read Fire! Which is the prequel to the story, but you have to read Graceling first. 🙂
