The Bactrian Camel
The animal of the day is the Bactrian Camel. (Did you know: Due to loss of habitat, nearly all exisiting Bactrian Camels are domesticated! In the wild, these camels were observed drinking salt water with no problem, but the domesticated camels won’t touch the stuff!
In the winter, their fur grows much thicker, and in the summer it is shed!
